I just wanted to let everybody know, that our beloved teacher De, who is taking a medical sabbatical, is doing well after her surgery last week.

We are missing her energetic and joyful spirit in our studio and sending her bunches of healing energy to recover beautifully.

TRX Intro @ 8:00 pm

Tuesday:

Gentle / Restorative @ 10:00 am

Yin & Yang Yoga @ 5:45 pm

 

NOTE: Denise’s classes Monday night and Tuesday are still meeting!

My dear Yoginis,

after a week of rest and recovery, I am finally getting better. Thank you so much for all your thoughts and good wishes for healing. I could feel the collective “healing energy” coming my way…Thank you also for understanding that if I am sick, as I was last week, I was too weak to answer phone calls or be on the internet to answer emails.

I will start teaching tomorrow, however I need to still take it a little easier this week, so please check the schedule regularly online. The online schedule contains the live information about the classes. I have planned to progressively teach a little more throughout the week, but if there need to be any changes for what ever reason, they will be visible for everyone on the schedule. So thank you for your understanding, that in case of illness, we all have to work together to get through it as smoothly as possible…

I wanted to clarify the schedule for this Tuesdays and Wednesday. I am sorry for the recent schedule changes; I am doing my best to not inconvenience anyone while I get over my cold. Emme (Monica)

– Denise so kindly has agreed to teach the Tuesday morning 9:30AM BREATH & STRETCH class

– Denise will also be teaching her regularly scheduled Tuesday evening 6:45PM Basic Yoga class.

CANCELLED:

– Wednesday’s 10AM “Gentle & Restorative” class with Darlene

Hi Everyone, due to a bad cold ALL CLASSES are cancelled for Monday, Oct 8th & Tuesday, Oct 9th ; I hope to see everyone as of Wednesday, Oct 10th. Please check website calendar for updates.

I’m fine just need to sleep and take my medications so I get better. Please understand rest is important for me so I am unavailable to answer calls and/or emails; thank you for worrying and understanding.

Come join fellow South Side Yoga students to participate in the 10th & Flow Yoga Party at Piedmont Park Sunday, September 30th. Event is presented by Lululemon and we will be joining other Atlanta Yoga communities gathering for an outdoor yoga practice on Oak Hill in Piedmont Park featuring live music.

Anyone interested in going to the event please email [email protected] so we have an idea how many will be joining us at Piedmont Park.

In your email, let us know if you will be meeting us at SSY studio and following in your car (the caravan will depart SSY at 4 PM). If you are meeting us at Piedmont Park, the meeting spot will be at the back of the park tavern where the patio meets the lawn at 4:45 PM. Worst case, if you miss us call Emme’s (Monica’s) cell (404-723-4185) and she will guide you to our location.

Please remember to bring your mat and water bottle and to show our unity, why don’t we all try to wear purple t-shirts or tops (black if you do not have purple).

10th and Flow

Sunday September 30th, 2012

Piedmont Park; Oak Hill

Join us at 10th and Flow in our initiative to bring the Atlanta Yoga community together for an outdoor yoga practice featuring live music. We will gather together on Oak Hill and unroll our mats for a cause. We are proud to support Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) in their effort to raise awareness of childhood obesity. This will be a donations based class with 100% of the proceeds benefiting CHOA. So mark your calendars for September 30th from 5-9PM, make sure you have your yoga mat, and meet us on the hill ready to practice and enjoy live music! See you there Atlanta!
